One of Valencia's most famous festivals is Las Fallas. The festival has grown in both size and popularity over the years, with the figures becoming more complex and impressive. What began as sculptures made to order for local neighbourhoods (the fallas and ninots) has become more specialised over the years. Gradually there began to be master craftsmen, or falleros, and the fallas sculptures became works of art in themselves. The museum has an extensive range of the ninots figures that have been spared from the flames over the years as well as a collection of fallas posters and portraits of falleras mayores. If you're a fan of las Fallas, don't miss this museum.
