CATALAN CRÈME

This Catalan version of crème brûlée is famous in Catalonia and across the rest of Spain. It's one of the most popular desserts and you'll find it on most restaurant menus. It's a type of custard with a crisp layer of caramelised sugar on the top that you have to break to eat the dessert.
