Companies can and must play a very important role in people's lives. We know that our work can make both our customers , and employees happy, as well as those whose lives we inadvertently touch. We want to make our customers feel special, and also feel distinguished ourselves as a socially responsible company.
The key to a brand such as Ayre Hoteles is the ability to demonstrate that the company, thanks to our trained staff, has a special and unique relationship with its customers, employees, and, of course, with society.
As such, we define our company Vision; “to become the benchmark hotel for guests to enjoy and for business professionals for work, initiating change and developing a social and environmental commitment”.
Ayre Hotels works with the Fundación Integra to integrate persons with disabilities and those at risk of exclusion from the labour market.
Palladium Hotel Group is committed to supporting social causes that dignify people's lives, such as those hosted by the Foundation. The Group has formed part of Fundación Integra's Board of Trustees since its creation 12 years ago. This, and other projects, pertain to the Corporate Social Responsibility policy, whose actions aim to create a balance between its financial performance and interactions with society and interest groups.
Ayre Hotels collaborates with the AGUA DE COCO Foundation
Thanks to our team, more than 200 boys and girls go to school in Madagascar!
We have just begun the holidays, but at Agua de Coco we have already started the back-to-school countdown for September 2013. Thanks to the AYRE HOTELES staff donations, we are able to send dozens of boys and girls to school every year in the Tulear region of Madagascar. These street children, without resources, are forced to work to help the family economy and would not be able to study without these donations. As many small children do not have the opportunity to attend school, they devote their days to hard, dangerous work, mainly in the sapphire mines near the town of Antsohamadiro, in Tulear.
Therefore, we have relied on the Sapphire School since 2008. It provides an education and a daily meal to children who were previously forced by circumstance to work in the gem mines.
Our goal for 2013, with the help of AYRE HOTELES AND ITS STAFF, is to provide access for 200 boys and girls to the school, its canteen, and the programme we implemented there to combat malnutrition.
All personnel voluntarily provides €1 from their wages, in an initiative that we call ""Teaming"". This small sacrifice multiplies since the staff at the ten AYRE HOTELES join together, providing more substantial and meaningful support.
Companies for a society free from domestic violence
Ayre Hoteles has signed the agreement “Companies for a society free from domestic violence” in the Presentation Ceremony which took place on 19 June 2012, chaired by the Minister for Health, Social Affairs and Equality, Ana Mato. Participation in this initiative is one of the actions within the Corporate Social Responsibility policy that the Fiesta Hotel Group chain has developed through its Human Resources Department.
The Nature Friendly Billing stamp at Ayre Hoteles. The Nature Friend Billing stamp guarantees the commitment of the Palladium Group in its urban brand "Ayre Hoteles" to the society to protect our environment through the gradual suppression of paper in its transactions, by electronically processing all the invoices issued and received, delivery notes, catalogues, rates, orders and all types of documentation formerly printed on paper. This initiative, which is one of several of an ecological nature, forms part of the policy for respect of the environment which the Palladium Hotel Group maintains and develops in all its hotels and resorts.
Agreement with the Fundación SEUR for collecting and recycling plastic bottle caps, and participating in the Stoppers for a New Life campaign.
We are proud to cooperate with this SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CAMPAIGN that consists in collecting plastic bottle caps for recycling. The collected caps are delivered to Seur. The money raised is used to pay medical expenses not covered by Social Security for children with serious illnesses, or to cover the costs of orthopaedic accessories for families without resources.
Ayre Hoteles collaborates with the Dona Tu Móvil (Donate your mobile) campaign. The project stems from a joint initiative between the Spanish Red Cross and the Fundación Entreculturas (Intercultural Foundation); it encourages the donation of used mobiles, to fund social projects. The donated mobiles are reused or, when reuse is not possible, recycled.
This campaign pursues two objectives:
SOCIAL ACTION: the income generated is destined for environmental and educational projects, as well as projects for the development of the Spanish Red Cross and the Fundación Entreculturas (together with Alboan).
ENVIRONMENTAL CARE: collecting unused mobiles and promoting reuse and recycling of said mobiles favours environmental conservation and awareness."
